I just met Adam Brody. Five minutes ago.
He's a really nice guy. And he has good hair! And his Adam's apple is not as prominent as I thought it was. I also met an actress but I forget her name. Oh yeah, Joy Bryant.

As many are aware, the French government recently announced a raise in its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide". The normal level is "General Arrogance", and the only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate". The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.
It's not only the French that are on a heightened level of alert:
Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing". Two more levels remain, "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides".
The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdain" to "Dress In Uniform and Sing Marching Songs". They have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbour" and "Lose".
Seeing this reaction in continental Europe, the Americans have gone from "Isolationism" to "Find Another Oil-Rich Nation For Regime Change". Their remaining higher alert states are "Attack Random Countries (Ideally Those Without Any Credible Military)" and "Beg The British For Help".
The British are also feeling the pinch in relation to recent bombings and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to "Bloody Nuisance".
The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was during the Great Fire of London in 1666.

So this weekend was pretty awesome. :D We got Moni a new fish and I got to name him and his name is Santiago and he is wise. Wise and confused. It's probably wise to be confused anyhow.
We also went to Chinatown, and got spoons, and went to this diner that fed me a lot and had this waitress named Lindsey D who was very kind and once escaped Gurnee and has one of those nose rings that really made me want to wave around red cloth or something.
It is so godawful cold today. Most high schools around here are closed, but oh, not university. I went to all my classes. I was so proud. When I got out of Comm 20 I really wanted to swagger about but it is much too cold for that, so I shuffled like a motherfucker back to my dorm.
My birthday is next weekend! Which means this weekend I want to celebrate con mio amici since on my actual birthday I will be in Minnesota, literally surrounded by a thousand gay people. Dude. YAY.
Uhh. Going to Ireland is too much to think about!
